Meet Your Farmers!

“A flower does not use words to announce its arrival to the world; it just blooms.”

My love for flowers and growing vegetables came from my family. My dad taught me how to grow peppers, tomatoes, and zinnias every spring. Having multiple family members in different agricultural avenues it was a no brainer when it came to picking my college major. I majored in Horticultural and Agricultural Business at NC State University. Later I moved to Maui to live and work on a permaculture farm. After experiencing living off the grid and farming I knew I wanted to bring back all I had learned to Raleigh and start a farm here.

I love the wedding industry! My older sister is an amazing wedding planner. She introduced me to the wedding field by bringing me on as her assistant. My love for the industry married my love for flowers. Naturally I became a wedding florist.  Every time, I am honored to be a part of someone’s special day. It is always a great feeling to help make someone’s dream design come true.

I grew up on my grandfathers nursery in New York. My love for plants and business started at a young age. In high school my family moved to North Carolina. I went to college at Campbell University where I majored in Business. After I started Modern Plant Creations which is a landscape design business. My passion for entrepreneurship stems from wanting to help people. Growing food and flowers for people is a way I can combine helping people and business. Green stuff is cool!
